Lokuge Dinesh Chandimal (Sinhala: ලොකුගේ දිනේෂ් චන්දිමාල්; conceived 18 November 1989) is an expert Sri Lankan cricketer who captained the Sri Lanka public cricket crew. A convenient and deft right-given batsman who at times plays as the wicket-manager center request batsman, Chandimal was the principal commander to lead Sri Lanka in their most memorable day-night Test match.
Chandimal was a critical individual from 2012 ICC World Twenty20 next in line group and 2014 ICC World Twenty20 winning group. He drove Sri Lanka in first gathering phase of the 2014 ICC World Twenty20, until was suspended for delayed over rate[3] and in this way lost the spot in the group until the end of the competition. On 26 September 2019, he enlisted in the Sri Lankan Army as a worker dispatched official and was qualified to play for Sri Lanka Army Sports Club. In August 2020, while playing for the Sri Lanka Army Sports Club, Chandimal made the most elevated complete in homegrown top notch cricket in Sri Lanka, with an unbeaten 354 runs.
